Peter Kowalchuk has created more than 25 theme-oriented photographic bodies of work over five decades. He gets an idea, develops a title and works to find images that meet his criteria for the project. He photographs mostly but not exclusively in black and white using 35mm to 8x10 large format film cameras and now digitally. His work is in personal and corporate collections across 11 states and has been shown in both group and solo exhibits across the country.
Attached are five images from Peter's first body of work called "On Porches." This work was made with a borrowed 4x5 camera 45 years ago and remains Peter's favorite.
