He has exhibited in a number of museums and galleries including the Grey Art Museum of New York University, the New Britain Museum of American Art in Conneticut, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Zolla-Lieberman Gallery in Chicago and the White Gallery and Key Gallery in New York.
The body of work demonstrated in part here is titled the Nature Morte Photographs. Allison is a rambler of the mountains and deserts of the American West. During his travels, he has accumulated many animal bones that he artfully arranges and photographs in natural light.
